I mean I absolutely slack off working from home and take breaks and do chores and what not but that’s completely different then getting 3 hours off to go to the movies.

I don’t actually see the difference between taking 3 hours off to go to the movies and setting your shit to busy for 3 hours to do laundry lol

 

Also, if I want to watch a movie at work, I just do that on my phone or my laptop while I work. I don't need to leave the office for it

 

fine dining isn’t as physically intense thankfully.

well doing laundry I’m still at home and can check to see if anyone messaged me, I can’t come back from the movies 3 hours later to a message I got right when I left and just tell my boss “sorry was really busy for 3 hours and couldn’t respond”

 

you are describing most, if not all, of the jobs we all currently have lol

just because i cannot go see the extended LOTR trilogy on a long lunch does not mean i am chained to my desk with no freedoms or personal liberties

my laundry takes exactly 92 mins start to finish but then i gotta fold/sort/complain about folding and sorting

From what I have seen at my local AMCs there is an employee with a kiosk and they show you the map and you choose your seat then

 

I can just imagine trying to find the perfect seat in that circumstance and someone grabbing the seat you picked in the time it takes you to make a choice/kiosk guy to key it in

I interrupt this theater talk to let you know that I just ate a strawberry frosted doughnut with sprinkles and it was maybe the best thing I've had from Dunkin since I worked there 20 years ago
