(I do practice what I preach and support local music, the problem is cover musicians thinking their cover band shit IS “the scene” and being ignorant about what actually pursuing original music is like)

 

no i get the point youre trying to make, it just seems kinda elitist to consider what youre doing superior to them, and that they dont necessarily deserve your support because of what they do lol

It’s more like, coming to a cover band show and coming to an original music show are two different things. The cover band is free, plays for hours, plays at the same spots every month, and always gets a walk in audience so promoting and attending their shows simply isn’t nearly as much of a commitment

Love seeing the draft order this year. After 1 it is completely different every draft. Ward went 7th in mine and easily could be vindicated to be drafted at 2 lol
