i have today off and friday off so tomorrow is my Monday but also kind of my Wednesday

this might actually be my normal year, we get to roll over leftover dates at the end of each year and use them before mid march so I think that's how I ended up at 25 this year

but missing the last three months of the year with parental leave I think mine is really like 19 this year

I don’t even know what I’m supposed to get anymore. They switched to “unlimited PTO” which really just means they can lay people off without paying out vacation and my manager is weird about it every time I request time off

yeah unlimited pto is a known scam lol

megan's work does it but it's basically like go on vacation once a year whenever as long as you don't have a deal and you can take days here and there as needed as long as you don't have work to do

 

My company has tried to do that and gotten unanimous pushback on implementing it so hopefully it doesn't happen but my boss told me he'll let me know if it gets decided it's gonna happen so I can burn all my PTO before

 

like she's "working" today but we're moving, she just has to take a call at like 2

but her firm is a rarity in that they don't have minimum billable hour requirements, which is so dope

 

19 days for me, 3 weeks "vacation" and 4 "personal" days
