If you are in the Dunkin drive thru and you order eight different sandwiches and eight different drinks, is that acceptable? Don't you think that's an inside order?

 

100% inside order

 

Dunkin has an app where you can order it ahead of time so if you're using that you can drive thru to pick it up but that makes it even more unacceptable if you're reading off each item

 

it would make me mutter to myself thats for sure

 

i also have a zero to white hot rage reaction to people (usually old asses) who take up everyones time while they pick their lotto numbers and buy their scratch offs at 711 or where ever. there should be an entirely separate line and register for that bullshit.

 

i have a take that you should, nowadays, never NOT be using an app. like, idk, obviously theres always gonna be circumstances that lead to needing to just order something quick but, like, these days the drive thru should be exclusively for people who are picking up a mobile order. if you dont wanna use an app or have a complicated ass order, go inside.

 

i will drive my ass to mcdonalds, park, open the app and place an order for drive thru pick up (mostly bc i want to use points or app exclusive deals that you cant get while ordering in person) but, i want to roll up and say hi i am here for my food please give it and they happily oblige.

 

Yeah if there's going to be a lengthy or difficult order there's really no reason to not use an app. If you're being impulsive and quick that is fine for sure, people can't be expected to have an app for everything, but if your order is complicated you have time to set up the app and be ready to use it

 

MAN when I used to smoke cigarettes and I'd be dying for my fix and the person in front of me would get 5 different scratch offs and scratch each one BETWEEN asks for the next scratch off...that's the closest I've gotten to murder and it was so frequent

 

EIGHT???? Like Dustin and Sean mentioned, use the god damn app if you’re ordering a bunch of shit. Drive through, especially in the AM on a workday, should exclusively be drinks, donuts, and MAYBE 1 food item. Anything else fuck off and immediately prison

When I’d go into work every day I’d place my Dunkins order on their app when I left my house and by the time I got there 15-20 minutes later I’d walk into the most crowded, horrific room and just grab my cold brew and head out

 

like, if people are going to all agree to obey the 10 items or less lines at the supermarket why not keep that energy at the drive thru.

I just also don't understand wanting to make the complicated order vocally in the first place, like if I have to order that much or order so many specifics I'm embarrassed to read it all off to someone. I also think it's a lot easier to get correct if it's already written down somewhere. So why NOT just use an app?

 

sometimes if kelsey wants to order something complicated I make her lean over from the passenger seat and order it herself lol

i am a notoriously picky eater, and by now all my friends and people i've been with just accept it, but the crippling anxiety i sometimes will get when i have to overly complicate an order will lead me to just ordering something i do not want just because it is simpler lol

please let me put all my substitutions in the app anonymously and they can make fun of and mock my order as much as they want behind my back

I also will ONLY exclusively use the Starbucks app for various reasons, but that is the notorious chain coffee where eeeeeeveryone gets way too goofy with their orders and it takes just way too much time sitting in that drive thru
