One time I was accused of faking sick and it turned out that it was appendicitis so ever since then my parents never doubted me

 

they did let us miss school to go to a Mets opening day one time though so, it was fine.

Yeah I can’t think of a time when I was actually sick. It was always just a slight cold or something which is different now but back then it was just suck it up and go to school because there’s no one to watch you. I did have the flu once in 2nd grade but that was on Christmas break so lucky me.
