speaking of cars, my Tiguan is currently sitting at a dealership for the last month because the moonroof railing malfunctioned and allowed water in that I couldn't see and it got under our rubber mats and caused mold to start growing in the carpet so now the carpet/liner/seat padding needs to be replaced and VW is saying they won't cover it because it was preventable and State Farm is taking their sweet ass time on the claim. Just supreme bad luck to start this year off.
