Honestly if he just said Ahsoka and Obi Wan were bad I wouldn't of even responded. But to pretend that Rise of Skywalker and Book of Boba Fett aren't on their own tier of total and complete suck, from a story perspective, from a technical perectve, from literally every single put to film is just...idk.

Like my film degree is a total and complete waste of money. 100%. It's a coaster. But it affords me the opportunity to understand just how fucking bad The Rise of Skywalker is. I went 60k in debt just to know how fucking bad that movie was.

Rise of Skywalker is the absolute dumps but i just have such a soft spot for skywalker saga stuff and some of those characters that ill always be able to find something moderately redeemable about it even though i do agree its mostly complete hot pig shit.

I watched The Rise of Skywalker with my kids and I think if we watched it again CPS would take my kids away

 

The fake Chewbacca death in RoS is unforgivable. They should have killed him for real!!!

 

I have re-watched every piece of Star Wars content 100 times over. Like, it is my comfort place when I'm mad, sad whatever. It is my oldest favorite thing of all time. I have seen The Rise of Skywalker once, and Book of Boba Fett once. And I will never watch them again. They are so tremendously bad.

 

I mean I don't disagree which is probably more of a reflection of how bad star wars has been than anything else lol

100% totally and completely agree. Or just don't even bother with it. The fake out was such tremendously stupid writing and they do it like 3 times in that movie.
