I’m not one to reduce it to “for kids” but it absolutely is harder for me to get into

 

There are a lot of people who refuse to watch Rebels or Clone Wars because they don't like the animation, which like, fine whatever. But Rebels is pound for pound the best Star Wars content of all time.

I’ve tried to watch all different types of cartoons and my brain just does not care. Star war, bojack, bob burger it doesn’t matter my brain just doesn’t pay attention.

 

Some real good content for my man Josh.

 

I think Bob's Burgers is maybe the most consistently good TV show of all time, animation or otherwise.

 

Bojack is so good

 

Other good animated content is blue eyed samurai and arcane

 

Too bad I can never watch any of them

 

Grimace species can't see animation. Weird evolutionary thing.

 

i am not going to disparage any of the animated SW content but i cannot get into any of them and have tried multiple times. i enjoy animation but, for some reason not that kind of animation.

 

I had a hang up about the style of Clone Wars for a long time but after getting over that and watching through the series, it became and has remained my favorite Star Wars content. It makes the movies from that era so much better too.

 

Rebels is really bad for the first like 4 episodes. But if you're a total nerd like me, and you're into the lore and how the force works and how the two religions operate, there's some meaty content to dig into.

Clone Wars is a bit tougher because it's an anthology so it's a lot of 3 or 4 episode arcs and some of them are bad, most are pretty good, and some are like "holy fuck can star wars be this forever"

stockholm syndrome. everything they've done post prequels with the exception of last jedi, the first few seasons of mando, rogue one and andor has been varying degrees of bad. ahsoka and obi wan were on the same tier of garbage as boba fett and rise of skywalker.

 

on a whole marvel has been better than star wars in the last decade and that is MISERABLE, man

They’re showing a ton of old Star Wars commercials and tv appearances/parodies before the movie. Fun.
