Def a scenario where driving is just better. You’re spending the same time as the drive in an airport at that point. Not including the flight itself OR the drive to the airport / trip from the destination airport.

that’s what, 2 hours parking + checking bags + getting through security and waiting in the terminal before your flight, half an hour waiting to get off your plane, half an hour navigating the arrival airport and waiting at baggage claim… isn’t it a 3 hour drive, let alone gas being cheaper than the airplane ticket + airport parking?
