i don't think it's the ego. i think it's him being a slow unathletic QB with a bad arm

 

I don't think I know more than any GM, even the shitty ones, but I also think the wisdom of the crowds holds true even when it comes to sports and when consensus big boards that pull from like ~200 different analysts evaluating prospects have Shedeur as the 12th best player and 2nd best QB in the class it means something and it's fair to criticize the handful of teams taking QBs over him.

almost zero real evaluators have shadeur as the 12th best overall in the class. there are almost 12 edges alone better than him. come on.

i do think there's an argument for shadeur being QB2 in this class but he/dart/shough wouldn't be in the top 5 QBs of last year so it feels like we're splitting hairs over something meaningless here.

 

I mean he had one of the worst lines in the country haha

and not that it always translates to professional success but if you cared about/watched college football at all, people have been talking about this for literal years. this isn't out of nowhere over the span of a draft weekend. if people like Kiper weren't motivated by other weirdo reasons to inflate shadeur's stock no one would be discussing this at all
