For the record, as if it needed to be said, I agree with the normal people here and get ice when I get soda from a fountain. Don't use ice at any other time unless it's a carbonated bev that's at room temp

Plain water is consumed at the temp from the tap or at room temp from the bottle. I don't even usually refrigerate them
