We are basically using a game we probably weren’t gonna hit much anyway, in a season where we aren’t likely to make the playoffs or win games against good pitchers in general… as a development game for our rookie pitcher. Uphill battle to win to begin with and he’s still struggling while Perez is lights out

There was a 3 run swing on a missed opportunity to end the top of third inning with a tag-out by our backup catcher, but they’ve also just gotten too many good hits off our rookie pitcher.
