your weekend plans are a rager

 

It did get the red ring of death multiple times over the years but man did I have such a great time playing gears of war with my squad.

Such good times! (besides the divorce, losing our house, being poor, my dad’s struggles, etc)

 

My son is 11 and my daughter is 7. They bicker constantly. Because he’s 4 years older I keep trying to teach him how to diffuse, walk away, be more mature, don’t instigate, etc. but it doesn’t seem be clicking. I always start with gentle approaches and I stay calm for a really long time but eventually I will raise my voice or just go “mad dad” on them on they can’t problem solve on their own after I’ve tried to intervene and model how to do it lol.

I almost never yell or get mad so if I’m anywhere close to that they know I’m serious and usually correct their behavior.

theyre both really good kids and from what I can tell they behave better than most of our friends’ kids. (I’m not trying to be that kind of parent, it’s just an honest observation. They aren’t perfect.)

and then drive to texas tomorrow to see a wrestling show with like 20k other people at the Rangers ballpark

The fact that people played it so much with red ring of death issues plaguing it for the entirety of its existence speaks to how good it was

and i read on the internet to drop it from like 2 ft on to a pillow face down to fix it

and it worked
