We’re close to our neighbors but we have huge trees in the backyard that block all of them from seeing in to ours/seeing into theirs. One of the main reasons we bought the place tbh

 

it’s not the heat but the humidity that gets ya

 

haven't really had an issue with any of our neighbors. the one directly next door is a nice lady

 

It’s so hard to play along when small talk is this simple, how do you not say “yeah I think that’s a groundbreaking phenomenon called Summer”

 

You’re lucky they agreed to share the cost lol heard too many stories of people with shared fences whose neighbors were complete assholes about it

 

I just wave to my neighbors at this point lmao. the couple across the street that we got along with when we first moved in likes to post pictures of them and their kids wearing MAGA hats at Trump Burger, so we pulled back

 

We have lived in our neighborhood for nearly 6 years now and don’t know the names of a single one of our neighbors

 

there’s a tree in between Nadia’s parent’s yard and their neighbors that needs cut down. The neighbor doesn’t want to split the cost or cut it down so her dad just cut off all the branches on their side lol.

Our neighbors are super nice, though much much older than us.

Despite being very social and from the south, I am not a “talk to my neighbors” person

 

I want to eventually. Family is preventing that for now

 

We do this too lol one of our neighbors has a crab apple tree that hangs into our yard and they fall to the ground and the dogs eat them and get sick so we’ve just started cutting allllll of the branches that go into our yard. The neighbors are renters too so there’s no point in talking to them about it

 

my landlord takes care of trees
