There's a heated olympic-sized pool close to our house where we pay $120 a year for unlimited use. Only downside is sometimes they close it down because some kid shit in the pool.

I work in marketing. Even my hard days is just sending emails and filling out reports.

 

yeah Nadia’s sister got a quote and it wasn’t even to fully redo the back deck and it’s was $17,500 so they just did it themselves (I helped kinda a little bit)

 

There’s a swim club like 30 seconds from my house where Kirby goes to camp in the summer. Might get a membership next year so we can use it on the weekends

Right so wasteful for Max to have a sun room AND a deck when I can simply combine both

 

I’m really jealous of people who are handy and can fix things around the house. I just do not have that skillset. I can do basic things but like, the idea of building a deck is DAUNTING

 

I can like change an outlet and paint and that’s the extent of my handiness

 

Brother I did not build the house or make any changes to it, it came this way

 

I can paint that’s it

 

anything involving cutting/measuring/building lumber scares me a bit


i'm very lucky though to have access to a lot of tools and a truck through work

 

I could absolutely do it myself, but it would take me a long time and I'd end up screwing something up at least once and having to fix something, but it would still be cheaper than hiring if it's really 20K.

I'll end up having people help me with it. My uncle just did his front porch and my step father just tore his whole deck down to redo it, so I'll probably wait until next year to ask anyone lol

 

We are messing with you friend lol. Though I do think the concept of a sun room IS stupid.. cool you get to have a room that’s way too hot in the summer / way too cold in the winter but with no fresh air. Feels like wasted square footage when you can literally just open the blinds in another room if you want lol
