I called off work today

 

How much of that do you know how to do lol

My list:

finish painting the basement
Replace drop tile ceiling panels in basement
Furnish playroom
Replace light fixtures in kitchen, dining room, hallway
Install cable management mount in living room
Convert 2nd closet in main bedroom into main bathroom (5 year goal)

 

I had architectural plans drawn up to redo half the upstairs back in 2020 and also need to redo the kitchen but I keep getting dragged to Disney so I’ll never get that stuff done

 

simply tell your wife no more disney trips

 

or kirby

whoever is planning them

 

I thought you would have gotten the reference the movie came out when you were 35

 

i dont even have a present wife and this mf has a future wife

 

oh i can absolutely do all of it except the garage ceiling, i can probably do the flooring but i'll want to kill myself

changing lights wasn't as hard as i thought it would be, we changed the living room ceiling fan and the exterior lights a few months ago

but yeah we actually want to change basically every light fixture in the house - hallways, entry light, laundry room, bathrooms - they're all old and ugly

we have a drop ceiling in the kitchen i'd LOVE to completely get rid of but that's a major thing

we need a vent hood installed over the oven

the whole house also has shitty popcorn ceilings and i hate it so much

 

dave is making me DEPRESSED

 

dave spent 3 billion dollars on a house and it didnt even come with cable management or a painted basement

 

How’s it my fault!

 

apparently i need to use a week of vacation just to do stuff around my house

 

Or AC or lights lol

 

Doing flooring fucking sucks. We gotta do it in the next few years. The people that owned the house before Nadia put in vinyl flooring but did a bad job and it’s cracking in a few spots.

 

Dave don’t feel bad it’s hard to work and have kids and do stuff around the house

not sure what Josh’s excuse is

 

josh has 3 fur children and a wife

 

Lol I wish I could use that as an excuse for the painting but Milo was in daycare during ultra Saturday week

 

i think he also has like 4 cats

 

He’s also a moderator which is basically parenting
