well, you see, november was 8 months ago, and, we're like almost halfway through july, so,

do i need to keep going?

Morning posters. So A/C guys couldn’t finish the install last night because they never got the condenser delivered to the house while they were working in the attic, so I gotta deal with them coming back for a couple more hours. Also have a plumber coming out this afternoon because an area they did work in 2 months ago appears to be leaking and causing water damage behind the drywall. Very fun very cool.

when something doesnt work i text my landlord and she gets it fixed

 

i find myself constantly thinking about things i need to do or want to do to my home and find very little motivation to do any of it

 

Simply don’t own a home

 

Hopefully not too hot today?

 

I still haven’t finished painting because of this lol

Feel like whether you own a home or rent you end up losing. Just in different ways.

 

Simply buy a house with your ex, break up 7ish months later, go through hell trying to sell that house cause your ex sucks shit, finally sell it and move in with your future wife who owns a home and then all your casual online acquaintances will make fun of you for not owning that house. It’s easy.

 

just off the top of my head I want to

replace all of the ceiling air registers (they're old and filthy)
install ceiling fans in the 2 small bedrooms (that are used as an office and a guest bedroom)
install cabinet lights in the hall cabinets (purchased these literal months ago)
replace the dining room light fixture (bought the light 3 weeks ago or so)

and then other stuff I'd like to do like some painting, move some posters around in the office and mount the tv in there, still want to remove the carpet in the non-bedroom areas of the house and put in vinyl

i also have a big hole in my garage ceiling where drywall fell a few weeks ago and I haven't called anyone to try and fix it

 

go throw hell sounds kinda badass ngl

for sure. when renting we were paying over $1300 a month for nothing. it was frustrating. i'm glad to own a home but it is a lot of work lol
