I hate that Trader Joe’s are union busters but they’re the cheapest grocery store around by a long shot these days. And although they have shameful union practices, I’ve talked to several current and former TJ’s employees and they all seem to genuinely like it (as far as a job goes) and you can just tell when you’re at the store lol. It’s a huge difference compared to shopping at Kroger or Safeway and most of the people working there look like they want to take a long walk off a short pier

 

Idk much about Trader Joe’s stuff but Kroger is legit despicable and I would not shop there

happy to have HEB for my grocery shopping. was a long time Kroger guy cause they were more plentiful in Dallas, but HEB is FAR superior to most grocery chains

 

We used to shop at Kroger for probably 25 years, and they’ve absolutely destroyed any goodwill they had in the last 5ish years. It’s a shame that people in Colorado still shop there religiously, but unfortunately there aren’t many other options that are as widely available. We tell people all the time how shitty Kroger has become and they are literally price gouging you and they don’t care lol
