I’m grumpy. My meager little raise was supposed to kick in on the July 1 pay period. Well it’s in my bank account already and no bump.

guess I know what I’ll be raising a ruckus about on Monday instead of working.

 

Oh cool, the bear has decided to focus a lot of attention of relationships between fathers and their kids. That’s cool. That’s rad. That’s super.

 

But also, as a person whose wife just left for the airport, and whose in-laws have the daughter for another day, and who had 2 kid-free days and is gonna be on sole parent duty 4-5 days straight...also, not missing your wife and knowing being solely in charge without having to plan for her shit too is kinda nice is cool too. Of course, come Wednesday of this week Ill be singing a different tune.

But if I was kid free, I'd deeply hate being one of those "my wife left and I dont know what to do" kinda guys. Like shit, I'd have days worth of travel plans.

 

1 day without my wife is great. Every day after that is exponentially worse.
