Massachusetts by and large is significantly more expensive than most states. And the places in Massachusetts that are a bit more on the affordable side are the places in the shadowland of the state that no one actually steps foot in.

But I will say I’m glad Baltimore area still has some affordability to it, cause Boston “area” still being ridiculously priced an hour+ outside the city is crazy to me lol. Like DC and it’s immediate suburbs are hella expensive too, but it’s not price gouging the rent of its outermost surrounding areas like Fredericksburg and Manassas lol. Maybe Frederick MD is more expensive then it should be but that’s about it
