I am so annoyed right now. Bordering on furious, if I'm being honest.

Yesterday I had a meeting about how to handle something new we're doing in the office. Before the meeting I checked with someone on if we could create a new process to handle it. Yes. No problem. We can definitely do that.

Okay. Great. I tell the person I'm going to let everyone in the meeting know that we can do this. Yup. All good.

After the meeting I follow up via email "okay, everyone is on board, let's do that thing we talked about" - no response.

Then I hear from someone else that the person I originally asked is "very concerned" about doing this. THEN WHY DID YOU TELL ME IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM?!

So now I have another meeting tomorrow to talk about what we talked about yesterday "so we're all on the same page"

Yesterday was the day to get on the same page. Before you told me it was all good and not a problem and then I told everyone else it was all good and not a problem.

Shit like that drives me insane.

 

DMV went nice and easy. started at the time of my appointment even. got my enhanced (their REAL version name) license done.

I just don't understand why things have to be this difficult. I get that some things take thought and are complicated (this isn't. It's a variation on something we already do EVERY YEAR), but if you're unsure, tell me you want to think about it for a bit and get back to me. Don't just "yes" me to get me out of your office and try to back out later.
