Also I am so fucking done with the Democratic Party, god they suck almost as bad as GOP because all they do is enable them. I don’t want to hear from anyone else how third party votes got us here. The Dems literally folded and chose their corporate donors over taking a harder stance against Donald Trump repeatedly. They chose to alienate half their voter base to run three of the most conservative democrats in three consecutive primaries, despite more people polling for a different candidate in 2016 and Dem voters not even getting a fucking say in 2024. And now they’re too fucking pussy to stand up to Donald while he’s starting illegal wars and throwing people into concentration camps.

Fuck the entire Democrat platform; it is an entirely useless opposition to Neo conservative policy (and cheating via the judicial branch). And at this point I don’t rule out that they have handshake deals with their donors to let Trump’s presidency run its course while meaninglessly posturing against it, so warhawks and polluting industries and other business that benefit from his whimsical deregulation can profit. It is time for American people to start demanding something better.

Maybe Dem voters (including myself) were wrong the whole time that it was a necessary vote for harm reduction and actually all we did is clear the runway for Trump to leverage their donors against them to do whatever he wants?

That making sauces from scratch, using fresh herbs, and not loading it with cream and butter is the key part of Italian food being great / all that stuff is why American takes on Italian food suck and are overrated

I don’t have a particularly strong take on this except that food of Italian origin is yummy and I enjoy both super authentic Italian dishes and Olive Garden trash lol
