read stoner at his recommendation, too. i dug it. one of his posts came up on my fyp actually today recommending a book about canadian punk bands called “in too deep”. he was talking about alexisonfire being the first punk band he got into. that one’s on my growing “to read list”.

i’ve only got a couple hundred pages of lonesome dove left and i’ve been debating whether to go back and read the prequels first. all the movies were turned into tv mini series. good actors in the lead roles, too…

kind of bounced off of McCarthy when I tried because of the run on sentences, but want to try again one day.

 

McCarthy books are solid, but shame he was kind of a gross dude
