oh yeah I watched the Lizzie McGuire movie for the first time tonight with my wife and I can't believe they let people play massive concerts like that right there in the Coliseum

If I was in the market, and that basement had high enough ceilings for a 6’2” or 6’3” man to stand up without ducking (see: turning it into a recording studio that can fit a tall ass drummer and bassist) and that backyard had the ability to dig a pool in it, I’d be jumping on it

it’s in Baltimore proper right by the lovely Hampden / Roland park neighborhoods and one of the city’s best parks (Druid Hill park), 10-15 minute drive (20-25 in traffic) to almost anywhere in the city, but right off I-83 for easy access northward. a standalone / detached house in the city, with a basement, where I can record music at home without bothering neighbors but also be really close to venues and music events / open mics… that’s the dream

Tell me what I missed Supporter

    I am in Tulsa Oklahoma

It’s honestly pretty nice and the drive here was beautiful, west Oklahoma needs to take notes cuz it was garbage in comparison

Nice! Love a nice drive. Did you cross Lake Eufala on your way up there?

I can imagine east OK being decently pretty since it borders Arkansas

I had to drive through Eastern OK a lot my freshman year of college and most of it wasn't much to write home about until you got to the border of AR. Basically the only town you go through to get to U of A is McAlester

Its SO bad lol. They literally just kept going west until the grass was brown instead of green and then set up OKC at that exact spot.

Probably because that’s where the oil was. Have you seen oil towns in west Texas like Midland? Mf depressing. It’s like only areas devoid of foliage are rich in petroleum

    Actually never mind I’m wrong

the oil field wasn’t set up til the 1920s. Oklahoma City was actually settled in 1889 because it was in an area that was unclaimed by the local native tribes. And that’s probably why the city is built in an area with less natural foliage, there’s a reason the natives didn’t want that land. They originally settled there to start cattle ranches without getting attacked, not mine for oil. Must have felt like they hit the jackpot when they realized it was so petroleum rich.
