Hats I'm like 50/50. You can generally wash a hat (and you can wash some shoes as well tbf) but most shoes you definitely cannot wash

maybe once every two years for a work trip. otherwise it's AirBnBs if we go anywhere

i've been in plenty of hotels where the sheets clearly haven't been washed between guests, unclean bathrooms, suspicious residue on mirrors, etc. Never had that issue with a STR. Also STRs get way less traffic than hotels so less guests = less germs

 

Not as a clean freak per se but as a big time “don’t get sick” freak haha

 

Which to be fair everyone hates being sick but I feel for the tortured souls who are constantly aware of what can make you sick cause like… that’s overwhelming lol

 

Fuck Airbnb, much rather stay in a hotel in 2025
