I am running on 3 hours of sleep this is my current best

I think best case scenario at this point is he ruins the locker room and they clean house and finally reset

 

ran 4 miles, cleaned the apartment and did dishes and did a target run, made some birria tacos for lunch now im gonna get sat on the couch and take in a viewing of the best Wes film. remain blessed.

I will admit that restaurants at first were an unserious job for me to just be able to skate by and play as much music as I want, when I was working at chain restaurants it was literally “I can work more when I need more but I can also take days / weeks off work for shows and no one gives a shit enough to fire me” lol.

but now that I’m in a full time leadership role and on track for an actually salaried food service job at one of the top restaurants in Baltimore, I actually do get a lot of spiritual fulfillment from my career. It’s honestly a massive bummer that my current income could probably have bought me a house someday in pre/pandemic economy, but now it’s just enough to subsist and continue to barely afford to buy a used car and rent a modest apartment in the city. I remember growing up my family would go to Chart House and had a great relationship with a waiter there, my earliest memories of “I could do this job” were my parents in the mid 90s telling me that waiters make really good money and how legit of a career it was back then. Single moms used to support their kids doing this job lol. That’s crazy to think about now, how much it’s been devalued
