My friend used to make this hot sauce that was the perfect scrambled egg sauce. Miss that shit.

 

Bacon and eggs is often my home breakfast so I usually want anything else when I eat out. Unless I’m going to a simple spot like Waffle House where that’s the whole point

I just got back from Joe bidens local brunch spot. Its good, but it’s even better when he is not there.

 

Eggs over easy, toast, hashbrowns or home fries, bacon and sausage. Perfect breakfast.

Yeah I weirdly love the taste of runny yolks on bread but do not like the flavor by itself. Very illogical lol

 

My favorite is Corned beef hash, english muffin with jam and a glass of OJ.

What made my parents discover that music really was my “thing” is they got every penny of their money’s worth from piano lessons. They never had to be like “Randall did you practice piano” it was more “Randall it’s dinner time take a break”.

I was like the one student my teacher had who actually loves to practice and will legit work at something until it sounds right. I remember when I tried to learn my first classical piece (Fur Elise, of course) I tried to take shortcuts and play a different version of the left hand chords that didn’t make my fingers stretch like that, and he didn’t scold me he just said he was disappointed I took the easy way out and that I’m taking my talent for granted

Apparently that stuck because since then one of my best skills as a musician is learning songs by ear and not missing a detail haha

 

So anyway, once your kid discovers what they intrinsically love to do it might not be so hard to make them commit to it

 

my daughter loves to look at birds and go to the thrift store

she loves to play my guitar and paint her nails

a fine balance between my wife and I so far
