my 2 cents is who cares if you spend $15 on something a year in advance. whats the difference between buying a movie ticket for august 2026 and buying concert tickets for a tour that far out? very much one of those 'let people enjoy things' things, it makes absolutely no impact on your life.

I plan movies like concerts kinda and get tickets a month in advanced sometimes. I’m letting people live. Stop yelling Murph.

I just feel like a concert is different, you actually miss your chance to see a concert if you don’t get in before it sells out. You don’t miss your chance to see a movie, you just miss the chance to see it first day. But hey maybe I’m wrong and people are just that rabid about Nolan movies.

The tickets that went on sale are for the only true imax theaters in the world. It is An Event. Much closer to a concert than a normal movie.
