grass grows fast in the summer, nothing a city slicker like you would know about

 

it's like every two weeks for me or so. maybe it seems more frequent because i usually mow the front and back separately (partially due to It's Really Hot Outside and partially due to having a battery powered mower)

Yeah, from the sound of it, there would be a zoom interview and then if we're all still interested I would go down there, but the bigger issue is that I cannot take off in August, so everything has to take place in the next two weeks and I have no idea how that would be possible, but this guy seemed like they could do it if I could.

 

Have I also mentioned that I'm anti-airplane and would want to drive there?

Imagine hopping on a plane for an interview and getting 9/11'd or something. What a nightmare

I have areas of the lawn that grow faster than others which is annoying because 70% might not need cut but 30% does

 

my brother lived in TN for a year or two for work. couldnt get out fast enough lol and he isn't usually prone to caring much, which speaks to me about the place.

 

Some people like living in Tennessee, some people don’t

 

We killed our lawn like 2 years ago and re-seeded with drought tolerant native grass mixed with micro-clover. Doesn't grow nearly as fast and doesn't get nearly as tall so it doesn't need to be mowed as often

The terrifying part would be to leave such a secure job and go so far away because by the time I realize I hate it, I'm screwed and in an even worse position than I am now.

I started applying to jobs thinking I could be really picky since everything is secure for me at the moment and I like my job, but now that this seems like an actual possibility, I'm freaking out because what if I say no and then nothing else comes up?
