I'm in a weird position where my last job was acquired by a PE firm and I had to work within their world for awhile supporting revenue and it sucked, then they laid me off, and the company I went to just got acquired by the same PE right before I started. It's funny watching 2 companies go through the PE grinder because it sucks and completely changes the fabric of the company.

I will not be celebrating the 4th per se, but I likely will be able to see fireworks from my roof! My job is closedc which is a big step up from my last restaurant job where July 4 was the day you can’t miss, cause the patio has views of fireworks on the harbor

 

I’ll be swimming in a pool tomorrow and drinking surfsides

 

Will probably grill hot dogs and sit at home. A little annoyed there’s nothing in theaters I really want to see (or that I haven’t seen already)

It'll be my first time at the cinema since Ford vs Ferrari and the Power Rangers

 

They’re playing Spinal Tap at most of the theaters around here
