12 is perfect. They fixed the seeding problem. I think if we go four host sweep again they’ll move to neutral sites. Just leave it alone.

 

Only change I want is to get rid of conference champions being seeded and stick with top 12 regardless of who they are

tbh I think this is the correct way to do it. Conference championships should mean something.

 

28 teams completely takes away from the regular season. It should be 16 at most and no auto bids.

The announcement of the three permanent rivals will be… a day for a lot of moaning.

 

I feel like that covers mostly everything and the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. The message board talk and news outlets have been dissecting this for a few years now so I don’t think there will be any surprises.

LSU, Georgia, and Tennessee would be my choices for the Gators, although that’d probably be the most challenging group of any team in the conference.

 

Back in 2023/4, I think, there was a leaked list. Saban had a pretty big fit around when it came out, iirc, because Bama had Tennessee, Auburn, and LSU. Tennessee had Alabama, Vandy, and Kentucky… which… as far as the broad scope goes, I don’t hate, haha.
