I feel like this is a two hire process. kiffin and Riley can get us back to respectability and contention in a general sense, then the next hire would be the one to pull off a championship. i don’t see a coach in this cycle who would be the one to cut out the middleman. Saban, Vintage Spurrier, or non-perv/asshole Urban ain’t walking through that door.
The dumbest people are gonna see this UCLA game and think Raiola was the problem instead of realizing Emmett Johnson is almost LITERALLY the entire offense. 300 yards of total offense and he alone has 200 and 3 TDs.
My parents went to the Badger game today and I asked if they stormed the field and haven’t heard back so I’m assuming that’s a yes
Ive always liked auto qualifiers making the playoffs, regardless of how I feel about playoff expansion (would obviously melt if they expand more, 12 is good). Mostly because ACC and Big12 games are pretty interesting going forward. Anyone's game but both leagues are most likely 1 bid leagues (I still think 1 loss byu has potential to sneak in) I really wish they would have kept the conf champs get the byes. When Indiana plays Ohio state and no one plays any starters that's gonna be a real hoot
No no domo give me the 12 best teams. If there’s any auto-qualifier, it should be for the highest ranked team outside of the power four.
I suppose so, but highly doubt it’d end up that way. The ACC Champion surely would be ranked ahead of any P5 team at this point the way they’re cannibalizing each other is my thought, too. Especially if there’s currently 5 of them ranked (though, none of those are Duke lol).
If duke ends up in, let alone wins the ACC championship, something has gone terribly wrong with like 4 other teams
I just opened IG and saw they currently have the second best odds to make the ACCCG after last night lol. Whoops.
Theres nothing i want more in life for an ACC team to not even make it into the playoffs because a sunbelt team ended up out ranking them Ifs really hard though. Obviously has to be at least a 3 loss acc team.
"In today's world, you can reinvent your team in a matter of weeks. It's just something that's dated," he said. "If we're really in the business for student-athletes and the betterment of the student-athlete experience, there's no reason we should be punishing the student-athletes who are working hard day in, day out and deprive them of a postseason opportunity when there's really no good reason to do that." I agree
