saw a stat that Indiana lost a fumble in the first quarter of the first game of the season and then did not lose another for the rest of the season that is literally insane
I tried to think of someone close and honestly couldn’t really think of anyone. Like maybe Steve Kerr but we’ve never seen him without Steph curry lol.
What Cig did is the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life but Id like to see him do it for more than 2 years is all.
Cignetti is the man. My only concern with Indiana is that I don’t think living and dying by the portal is very sustainable. But, winning a natty should help improve the HS recruiting to go along with their portal moves.
Most of the portal stuff with them is overblown. Like a lot of the roster is just JMU guys following cignetti.
And I promise, I’m not even a Miami fan haha but I think they will be good for the next few years as well. Mario is a really good recruiter. And specifically a good recruiter in south Florida. They’re playing with fire by just buying a new QB every year, but as long as they can land one, they’ll be very good. Because they will consistently have really strong OL/DL play with Mario as coach. If you can consistently have an experience college QB behind that, combined with all the athletes you recruit from your backyard…seems good.
split zone duo guys on their recap were talking about how Indiana will have to adjust their player acquisition now as those guys age out. surely their NIL investment will only go up. not sure how they're doing on high school recruiting but also should go up
34th in the class. Obviously not great but not terrible and when you pair that with the #1 QB in the portal and other talent around the fringes it’s a top 15 class. Pair that with cigs natural x and o talent and they will be very very good next year
as a chiefs fan, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hall of fame coach yes absolutely best current coach no way
Honestly Reid wouldn’t be my top coach in the league right now this year was a mess and there’s no reason to indicate it won’t get worse
chiefs were truly dysfunctional this year, especially on offense, and that comes down to Reid. he's the offensive guy. no matter whos the offensive coordinator, it's Reid's offense also, just really questionable roster construction and player usage even as the season was over and they were tanking
