Tbf losing those games probably did motivate them to flip the switch. Because they’ve been awesome since.
I promise the team that lost to Louisville and SMU is not going to be able to keep it close against the team that beat Ohio state, smoked Oregon twice and made Alabama look like an FCS school
Miami also beat Ohio State. Also won at Texas A&M. Also beat Notre Dame. And Ole Miss. They can absolutely hang with Indiana.
Just feel like Indiana is such a feel-good story that we’re somehow overrating them. They’re clearly an amazing team and could very well win tonight. So I don’t want minimize what they’re doing. But greatest team ever? I don’t know man.
I think if anything if Indiana had a different name on the jersey we would be talking about them as an even better team that we do now. There are still plenty of casuals who aren’t taking them seriously because it’s Indiana. They’re a generationally good team. No one has been this good since 2019 LSU.
I mean zero disrespect to Indiana lol I think they’re awesome. I just also think Miami is awesome. Gonna be a fun game.
Also…I’m sure espn is hammering this home today… But I love the storylines from this game. Mendoza the Cuban kid from Miami playing against Miami in Miami and against a coach that went to HS with his father. Unique story that makes it even more fun.
Yeah I do also feel like it’s the opposite, People are still not comprehending how much better they are than everyone else cause they’re Indiana, they are just methodically dominant. Mendoza is gonna get the ball away quick enough and to the right spots to negate the Miami rush all night, Carson Beck is gonna be in hell playing from behind against that defense. QB and coaching mismatches and gargantuan, really think it’s gonna be ugly but we shall see here soon
One thing I’m curious about in this new era of college ball… Is it now more likely that a coach as good as Cignetti stays at Indiana forever? In the past, he would’ve been hired away after last year lol but now I could see him never leaving and Indiana just staying a power for awhile.
just turned on pre-game show and Pitbull is out there killin it And y’all really think Miami ain’t winning?!?!?!1
I think they have argument for the amount of games. No one has ever won 16 games. And they’d accomplish that by running through some great teams.
I think Beck’s performance will determine the winner. He has to play well or it’ll be too hard for Miami.
