Why Alabama is a similar quality team to Oregon and they got dog walked too. They have been the best team all season long and Oregon ended the regular season playing poorly. This was pretty predictable. If it looked like the first game between the two this season it would have been more surprising
Moore looking as bad as he’s looked is the only surprising part. Indiana gashing Oregon’s defense is not at all.

Beat Penn state by 6 in OT, beat Wisconsin of all teams by only two scores, beat Iowa by two points and played some marginally decent teams pretty close as well. They were ranked 5th. They weren’t a top 5 team. They just didn’t lose games because they didn’t play anyone good other than Indiana. Last week was the second time they looked impressive all year and the first was USC. None of their wins came close to the bama UGA win. They were closer to the fourth best team in the conference than the second. meanwhile Indiana was the best team in the country when Oregon lost to them by 10 at home and Indiana has gotten progressively better each week since. Not a surprise.
Oregon absolutely top 5. Only loss was to the clear number one team. Regardless of the quality of their wins, they didn’t lose to someone like Florida State and played their best game of the season on defense last week. This loss is definitely shocking. The first game against Indiana was tied going into the 4th and was super close for the most part.
