Have a feeling that after Tulane and JMU both get absolutely destroyed, the G5 is no longer getting an automatic bid and we are headed towards the top ranked teams. Get rid of conference title games and expand the playoffs to 16 teams.
Almost every sport across the board.... yeah most of the time the lowest seeds tend to suck. If anything I think giving the 5 seed a bit of a "reward" like this is fine. Oregon was a 5 seed and got a much easier game than a&m the 7 seed.
I believe Ohio State wins that matchup anyway because Nico wasn’t the answer, but one of my few “what ifs” as a Tennessee fan will always be what if Dylan Sampson hadn’t been injured for that game considering what he’d been for that offense all season.
