I can’t believe they didn’t get Reaves, they didn’t even get Knecht. He could’ve gotten both and the Lakers would still have won the trade.
so insanely odd to start the letter that way "hey 2 seasons ago we did good remember that ok guys please remember that its so important that you remember that"
“Fast forward two years - we’re not where we want to be as an organization. It’s hard to put your finger on exactly why but we’re gonna be better”
Basically. Never expect billionaires to take accountability for anything so I guess it’s par for the course.
Your rich mother-in-law gave you a relatively successful sports franchise to run and you let a shoe salesman dupe you into thinking they knew what they were doing when you could’ve simply learned about the sport and the business.
Will this guy fucking shut up? This team isn’t playing more than maybe a handful of games together. A bunch of glass cannons who clearly aren’t playing well together.
Heard it mostly in games in regards to classes that are really powerful offensively but weak defensively.
Finley? Probably. He’s pretty deeply engrained in the organization now, and I get the impression he had a solid hand in the Luka decision too. It felt like he didn’t like him from a lot of their interactions, most notably the clip after winning the WCF and the beer
I don't really get this, from my view there is no other game that night that obviously warrants this. Also both teams have been good and Miami leads the league in pace? lol so it's not like it would be a boring game
