I keep watching highlights of the game last night and yes I know Wemby cooked us but I’m fairly certain he’s going to make even the best defenders look like plumbers. There were several moments where AD would lock him up a few times in a shot clock then Wemby would do some wild shit and get a bucket. I don’t know how you properly guard a dude with the build of Shawn Bradley and the strength of like Rudy Gobert who plays like a fucking point guard. Never seen anything like it.
But the Mavs are also terrible right now in this current construction. Us having AD is making everyone play out of their natural position and I don’t trust Kidd to make the appropriate adjustments until Kyrie comes back.
One of my favorite lowlight reels because you think wow those were some really bad plays and then you see you’re only halfway through the video
The like 10 min Russ lowlight of him barely hitting rim on midranges while with the lakers was the worst I’ve seen
How Will Smith Split LeBron and Russell Westbrook for Good - The Ringer Haha, I saw this come across my feeds a few days ago.
I think they’d be a lot better off letting a true pg run the point. That’s a hell of an ask for an 18 year old rook
I like what I saw from the Magic offense last night, but the defense not so much. I know they were statistically good last year, but that was also while playing at a much slower pace than what they're attempting this year. We'll see. But, 125 points and 40% from 3 is definitely progress. Jalen Suggs looked pretty good in his minutes (after picking up a couple of fouls immediately), and Desmond Bane is going to be such a good addition, even if he was costly.
obviously we all know that, but our only true PG right now is a rookie. Kidd did the same thing with Giannis. He's an idiot.
If this is the case, Charlotte should have never been allowed to trade him for any significant compensation in return. Miami should be owed some kind of draft compensation.
Am I missing something is that clip? I don’t really get the jump to the league “sweeping it under the rug” from what was posted. Windhorst says the sportsbooks notified the NBA of irregularities and then the league pulled Rozier and Porter. I haven’t read the whole story yet, but that clip doesn’t really seem to support that claim.
