Good lord at the last year and it’s a player option. Go ahead and mark that one as picked up by Mitchell.
i mostly agree with this (see: the new york yankees) but sometimes a player like Lowry that means so much to a franchise is worthy of the quick retirement. they have 1 other retired number lol
yeah i think with such a young franchise it makes sense for the Grizz I could see Gasol, and then Conley in a ring of honor type thing maybe
Yeah, I don't really mind that one one way or another, it's whatever. It's definitely a take that's colored by Celtics fans desperate desire to retire every number. They want like Rondo and Jaylen Brown up in the rafters like come on lol
That's kinda my thing. I think a Ring of Honor makes sense for those guys and "no one shall ever wear your number again" is reserved for the very very upper echelon in league history.
There was one guy who called into 98.5 and earnestly argued for Marcus Smart's number to be retired. I almost crashed my car laughing when they just flatly hung up on him and banned his phone number lol
I know, i'm saying if I owned a team I would only retire the number of guys in my history who weren't just the best players in franchise history, but were the guys who represent my team in the league's history book. I'm retiring Bird and Russell, not Kevin Garnett. That's just me though.
Hopefully a clause in Mitchell's contract specifies restrictions for James Harden being rostered on the same team.
WFAN is incredible entertainment. Sometimes entertainment makes you want to bludgeon someone. It happens.
i listen to 1 chiefs podcast twice a week (less during this offseason tbh) and 1 thunder podcast usually twice a week. they do not take calls from random fans. that's the part i don't want or need
how much effort does it take for your car to automatically connect to your phone and then hit play on an app dave
I drive 45 minutes to work, so I get like 2 podcasts episodes a day. Unless it’s the Ringerverse HOTD episode lmao
