I still don't mind them not including Hugo. I don't care about the player himself, i'm just fine with the team saying "we beat their offer. take it or leave it" and moving on from there. And I still believe JB and 2 1sts is significantly better than what the Bucks got from the Heat.
It is better. Neither package is great. I get the bucks not wanting essentially one asset that pretty vocally was like I won’t stay with your team.
I would have preferred several other teams and packages but ultimately since it is an agent-driven league if giannis didn’t want to play in Houston or Portland or Minnesota (I know he said after he would have but whatever with that guy) and if Jaylen doesn’t want to play in Milwaukee or Sacramento or wherever it doesn’t really matter, they aren’t going to get traded to those places
Sure, don't disagree. I think the way it went is "fine" given the circumstances. I'm just not gonna get hot and bothered about them not including Hugo, but I do think they should hold firm on not trading JB for junk. I'd rather just walk away from the table than settle for Jrue and a couple picks.
I wonder if Jimbo James Harden is gonna take a paycut for LeBron. I’m not entirely convinced he’s headed to GS. Are the Cavs dumb enough to send Allen to LA in a Bron S&T deal? Bring Bronny with. Big ol happy ending.
I think the retirement home warriors would be funnier but i think the jimbo bron cavs would be a bigger disaster. which to root for? much to ponder.
Cavs is the sweetest ending, even if they flame out it’s fun and they need a small forward is the fit is there. Miami would be interesting, they’ve got to be desperate for minimum contact guys. He could play point guard, fuck it who cares. Warriors seem most likely, but would probably flame out really bad even if they land everyone they want. He should pick a team out of a hat.
Don't think LeBron ends his career with an entirely new (to him) team so it's either Cleveland or Miami and I'm heavily leaning towards Cleveland
kinda my thoughts. Cleveland seems like the perfect retirement lap destination. For a guy who is big on legacy, it just seems so obvious.
That seems like a lot for Kawhi at this point, especially with that investigation somewhere out there. But I do imagine that it helps the value of the '28 unprotected pick the Clippers owe the Sixers.
