I like the Felix Okpara pick at 46. He gives Orlando a shot blocking and vertical lob threat they really don't have outside of Goga, so he's nice insurance as a (likely) deep bench guy. Edit: Scratch that. He’s going to Washington, and Orlando gets 51 and 60. Yay?
They just traded him to Washington for picks 51 and 60, and they sent 60 to Milwaukee for cash lol. There have been a few trades that got announced after the pick was made.
Last year was such an anomaly with them actually keeping their second rounder instead of trading it for cash considerations.
Wolves have the 33 million dollar trade exception created from the Randle trade, but really the only package I’d want to send is something like Rudy/TSJ and pick swaps. So I think the other suitors would make better offers
Don’t hate the idea of trading him, just don’t like the names/offers I’ve seen thrown out there. Also sounds like teams are calling and Hornets are listening vs Hornet are actively looking to move him. So hopefully we make someone pay up if it happens.
Lamelo has a really good season so it probably is the right thing to sell high. But you also run the risk that he somehow actually stays healthy and this past season is the norm. I like Lamelo. Happy if he stays. But like I said above, if we get a really good offer, just take it.
