if Jaden was more consistent and aggressive on the offensive end he could easily be the second option but he loves playing passive which is crazy since there’s been instances when where he’s a walking bucket
Basically need Jaden, Ayo, and Naz to do whatever Ant did a few summers ago before he had one of the best three point shooting seasons ever. Shit, make Rudy do it too.
I think Miami will be better than the general consensus in this thread. But the takes of “new team to beat in the east” elsewhere seem just as ridiculous. There are some big question marks though. Mainly, if you resign Wiggins, which version of him are you getting? And is Bam’s three point shooting consistent enough to actually play him with Giannis? And then if Giannis isn’t actually healthy (another big if), the heat are going to be terrible. Defensively, this team could be insane though. Also, 2031 and 2033 Heat picks could be pretty solid, so the return looks ehh right now, but long term it’s promising.
More importantly, I love what the Bulls are doing. It’s wild to see them with an actual cohesive feeling plan. Claxton is a great pick up and we still have tons of cap flexibility. A front court of him, Wilson (I’m assuming) and Matas should be fun.
Gotta hope Claxton turns back into what he was on defense cus wooo boy the last two seasons in Brooklyn it has been not great.
He has the shooting we need but him being 33 makes me a little iffy on it. Doesn’t necessarily fit the timeline of Cade/Ausar/Duren definitely would’ve preferred Herro. What was the word on a new deal for him $$ wise?
My guy musta been desperate to finally be able to get into the HC position taking that contract with the sketchy front office, do hope it pans out for him though he has stepped up whenever finchy got ejected or when he had to coach that playoff series when finchy blew out his knee
