wished the wolves got in on brogdon, team is pretty thin on guards after conley/big ragu. they must figure Shannon jr/rob will eat NAWs minutes this year
I wish they could trade Rob/Donte for someone like Coby White. But even he's not a great distributor. Maybe Ant just learned to pass this offseason like he learned to shoot 3's last year.
You can take solace in knowing that Brogdon will probably miss a ton of games, and that his actual contributions aren't close to what he theoretically brings.
the only reason Siakam wasn’t traded years ago to Atlanta is because they refused to put this dude in the deal. Rough
Giannis did all he could for that Greek team. His brothers even looked like solid players at time. Eurobasket was pretty damn fun this year. FIBA Schroder has become a joy to watch.
Super annoying that YoutTube TV will no longer offer league pass. Guess I'll have to sign up through Amazon since my Samsung TV doesnt have the NBA app. I like it being on YouTube TV becuase I can flip to a network tv channel during commercials. Now I need to get out of amazon app and into youtube tv app if I want to surf during a break. Super annoying. Kind of like WWE Raw moving to netflix. Anyways, lets goooo Magic!
That's a very interesting read. I'd admittedly forgotten about how his tenure in San Antonio ended, and it definitely hits different now knowing all that's transpired since. You wonder if it had been a team other than the Clippers, would they have caved to as many of his camp's demands? It's really the perfect storm of an insecure team and an extremely high-maintenance player.
As bitter as it was when it happened it all worked out better than we ever could have hoped in San Antonio. Possibly dodged a major bullet.
One of the things Cuban said in defense of Ballmer initially was that he would've bought carbon credits instead of just straight-up investing if he were really doing what he's accused of. Lo and behold, Ballmer did just that! Amazing.
Maybe the role of sports league commissioner needs to be torn down and built back up. These goblins work for the owners, they're never going fully crack down on them, except for the outliers of Donald Sterling and Dan Sydner, which the other owners wanted (and I believe Sterling would probably still be the owner in today's dumb environment)
