Jacques was playing pickup when he saw the news (someone showed him on their phone lol) and he looks like someone shot his dog. Cool.
My biggest complaint with the trade is that it happened at midnight. Can the nba cut out this bullshit where they make their huge trades in the middle of the night?
absolutely hate this. hate miami, hate the package, have absolutely no desire to watch tyler herro play basketball on my team. no reason to be excited about the picks either because we'll just end up with 6 more jordan nworas. so i just hope they find a way to expand this by july 6th. miserable.
You got the Knicks, Pistons, Cavs, Hawks, Pacers, Celtics if they don’t see-combust, then the Heat, Sixers, Raptors, Magic, Wizards, and Hornets fighting for the play-in, and the Nets, Bucks, Bulls all playing young guys every night in the basement of the conference.
There’s going to be a stretch of like five games where Miami looks unbeatable and then someone will be hurt and they’ll fall to sixth again.
Wow, I can’t believe Riley actually got it done after sitting on his hands the last few years. I could definitely see them trying to expand the deal because they are hard capped at the first apron now. They’ll definitely need to do some work now to round out the bench rotation and deciding what they’re going to do with Powell who needs an extension and Wiggins with this being an option year for him. Glad they were able to keep this year’s 2nd, I have faith in their scouting department to find a guy who contribute now. Probably a shooter that played 4/5 years in college. Also very happy they could keep Larsson, Kas leaving is a bummer but I get why they ultimately agreed to let him go. He’s got a lot of potential but he’s just not going to be on the timeline they just put themselves on by making this move.
They obviously should’ve traded giannis last offseason but whatever they’ll be bad and it will probably not work out but I’m gonna try to embrace this
