The actual game last night was insanity even with the L, but this was a fun encounter pregame: The area around Penn was an absolute catastrophe, and the vibes were dismal. Lots and lots of frustrated and anxious people were being sent in all directions like cattle. I asked eight or nine different cops what I needed to do to get to my wife who was two blocks away with our tickets and ended up with nine different answers. It took a half hour to traverse those two blocks, so I was absolutely shocked that the entire arena was full by tipoff. I know the TV made it sound like it was 60/40 boos or 50/50 for Trump, but it was thundering boos inside the arena. Deafening. The actual game had amazing energy, but you can't help but feel like something is missing when the real fans are elsewhere and the seats are full of the Epstein List and Blackrock employees. Officiating was a mess and the endless reviews made the flow choppy, but the real thing that killed the Knicks was halftime. They were cooking and then never quite achieved that connection again. Once in a lifetime experience though, still buzzing even with the loss!

I went to the finals in 1999 when they still played in the Alamodome. A damn sold out football arena, it was kinda like I was at Wrestlemania with how small the court was in comparison to where I was sitting. I was in 4th grade so I don’t remember much besides that we were sitting next to 3 Knicks fans and they left early in the 4th
damn. only finals memories i have are from elementary school. i just remember there being a lot of crying. i was dripped out tho.
