It’s beating a dead horse to talk about how horrible the officiating is in the NBA, and what the “product” has become…but the way they let physical contact escalate off ball is just bad in every way. It’s not even about bringing back a more physical game, they are just getting away with dumb shit and it’s just gonna keep getting worse and worse until there are more injuries. So we have egregious contact off ball, and call the dumbest shit during isolation, just makes for a very frustrating game. The amount of unwritten rules has surpassed a reasonable level. That said, game 1 was incredible, and this series could be a classic. I think Spurs in 7…I wanted to say 6 but I think it depends on Fox?
At least he washed his hands! But damn why would you film someone in the bathroom regardless of who it is
That video still sucks ass. That three point attempt in the clip he’s not even trying to make the shot!!! Like he jumps five feet inside the line to seek contact. This is not me saying he’s bad. He obviously is a top tier talent. Doesn’t make that shit whack imo
I don't fault players for playing the refs and using the refs inability to interpret rules appropriately or actually see the game as it's happening, but it's really not great to watch as a viewer if they aren't your team. I guess this is true for just about everything in sports, but alas. The only thing Shai really has going for him in this regard is he doesn't really cry to the ref much, if at all, if he doesn't get the call, so outside of bubbles, it kind of gets ignored.
Non ball knower moment here but I didn’t realize Biyombo was still in the league. Former Orlando Magic Great.
