I know nothing about coaching contracts but 5 years seems like a long time when it seems like most coaches last like 2-3 years then just get paid out for the rest of the contract while the process starts again.
He could be a good fit considering where New Orleans is as far as needing to establish an identity, but they better hope for some offensively-savvy assistants on his staff.
