IMO as a non-ball-knower this is like, one of the best constructed teams ever. Multiple 2nd round picks and UDFAs contributing, the best player was a late lottery pick and people will not shut up about officiating Missing the forest for the trees man
My point is a lot more happens than these highlights (lowlights) that get clipped by engagement bait twitter accounts and if that’s what you’re really focusing on it’s a you problem

They do this type of shit more than anyone. Yeah, they are an extremely well ran org and have a great, great roster. But they still play like little shits.
It really is okay to just acknowledge when our teams/players do loser shit lol we don’t have to grab our sword and shield and defend flopping around like crazy as if people in the thread can’t recognize they’d beat the lakers regardless

I’m not even mad at all actually. I just made an observation. The refs were stinky. The Thunder play into it. It is what it is.
The free throw part is kind of irrelevant. The refs aren’t calling it. That doesn’t mean they aren’t flopping around like a fish out of water. It just isn’t effective in the playoffs. Which makes it more shameful and ugly to watch.
I guess since I don’t enjoy how one team plays I will end my lifelong fandom of basketball and just never watch again.
This is the issue lol. It IS one of the best constructed teams ever. Full of great and smooth shooters who don’t need to do this to get their shots. They are embarrassing themselves doing this. And it isn’t something people are just picking on the Thunder about, it is something fans and the media have been consistent about with Los Angeles laker luka doncic as well as James harden and like a dozen other people. It’s just also seemingly the way every Thunder player on this roster plays lol.
No one should care what the nba media says about them while playing but these guys upon retirement time and time again have shown us they really do care about their legacies and this is absolutely going to effect SGA’s. There is an argument for him RIGHT NOW being like a top 10-12 guard ever, let alone where he should be after his career is done. No one will respect him in that way because he doesn’t play with any self respect lmao. He is being a bozo.
People have found reasons to attack every great team throughout my lifetime. Warriors it was oh all they do is jack up threes, lebron cavs oh it’s just LeBron dragging around a bunch of bums and banana republic models, LeBron heat and late Kobe lakers oh it’s pathetic that they had to link up with other all stars to be able to win anything etc. etc. The difference is the product of actually watching basketball with all of those teams were great and it was just superficial complaints. The product of watching OKC, who I have defended against this a lot in the past but it has been way worse this season, is made worse by them doing this when they could just not do it and be as great as those other teams easily.
