  1. Or they could just get the #1 pick and keep that player instead of committing over 200 million to Brown or Giannis I guess

  2. Well sure they could just get the number one pick bee boop bee boop so easy

  3. It worked so well for them when they got the number one pick like two years ago

  6. then we can use that same logic with all the bucks lottery picks too because they've been stinkers too haha

  7. Idk why you guys are so resistant to the idea of a superstar in the league leaving the team he’s been with for a decade as if the history of the league hasn’t said basically everyone has done this

  8. Well. I do know why but I’m practicing kindness.

  9. I'm not resistant to it I just don't think it's a foregone conclusion

im gonna be honest man, you being as high up on the hill that giannis is definitely leaving has seemed like cope for a while. it probably is smart for them to part ways! and contrary to my posting and beliefs, he may leave!! it all could happen!! but its so goofy to always be like "actually im right and you guys are dumb" about this topic.

i actually hate that drew constantly brings it up, i wish he would stop!!! but posting "idk why you guys are so stubborn!!" is funny coming from you considering your posts about this topic are exactly the same just from the opposite side.

anyway go knicks and fuck embiid soft ass bozo bing bong babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  12. I’m not trying to say you guys are being dumb I just think that given, as I believe you’ve said in the past and correct me if I’m wrong, but your bucks fandom starting with Giannis I think your perspectives on this are skewed. Of course you would want to keep him in Milwaukee. Given the history of the league one of the outcomes is much more likely than the other.

  13. Derrick White being voted as one of the most underrated players is odd to me. He feels very appropriately rated now.

  14. I’d imagine that survey was conducted before the playoffs haha. Not that he was great this season but I do think a lot of current players respect the Jrue/white types that are just hard as nail defenders short guards

He's very very highly rated by the league, but if you gave the average NBA an his resume and said guess this player, they'd never get close to it lol

  16. Definitely. I think the same is probably true about jrue.

The Sixers' starting center tonight played 3:47 in game one and committed five fouls. Bodes well!

You should start a few other scrubs who have never started before. Can't hurt.

  20. The way the Celtics went out firing 3s non-stop gives me hope it’ll make Charlotte alter their style of play. We play very similar to the Celtics, makes sense with Charles Lee coming from Boston, and it’s one of the main reasons we got smacked against Orlando.

It can be a really fun, exciting watch, but if the shots aren’t falling it is dreadful. Part of it for Hornets is that we just don’t have a reliable offensive threat inside. But even with that in mind, we could definitely attack and drive more.

I’d like us to add some size inside and balance the offensive approach some this offseason.

I don't mind being a three-ball heavy team but being a stubborn asshole when it's not working is dumb

What he say fuck Embiid for?!

  23. I agree with this…but I also think it’s generally a bad approach for the playoffs. I know Boston won a title very recently doing it, but they’ve also had playoff exits when they were heavy favorites because of it.

I saw some stat yesterday about how shots in the playoffs this year are way more often contested compared to regular season (I’m assuming this is consistent every year in the playoffs). So it makes sense that the heavy 3-ball approach can become an issue once the playoffs start. It’s already a lower percentage shot and now it’s being contested more than you are used to.

Ultimately tho, you’re correct. It can work and be awesome. But please have a backup plan! lol

I kinda get it from their vantage point. They've done it for 5 years and have been to the finals twice and have a championship. Most teams would take that deal in a heartbeat. It just feels like the last couple of years being a bit more versatile could have saved them.
