I think Bucks/Celtics/Hawks makes the most sense. Celtics get Giannis, Hawks get Jaylen, and Milwaukee gets control of their own picks again from Atlanta. Brooklyn isn’t competitive enough as it stands to push everything in for Jaylen who won’t make them contenders and also won’t sell tickets lol
I believe the only picks Atlanta has of ours is the one from this season and next year’s when that draft is supposed to stink. So maybe if they land a top 4 pick in the lottery this year, something Brooklyn could also do. I’d rather have the variety of picks from Brooklyn than a pick from Atlanta simply because it would be giving us our own pick back
Another trade that just makes sense to me but likely won’t happen is Fox for Brown. I think both teams would benefit from it. But it doesn’t fit the whole “Jaylen wants his own team” narrative.
It'll be really funny btw when he goes to the Nets or the Hawks or whatever and in two years is complaining about how he doesn't have any help
That’s not my point - why wouldn’t Atlanta want giannis instead of Brown if they’re the team sending the more valuable pick?
Because they have enough to get one of the players but not the other. I’m not speaking in riddles man.
Not really worth it to keep going back and forth about whether he will or not since we’ll probably know this time next week but you’re being a goofball if you don’t think both parties should part at this point
The east kinda sucks - having a competent coach a healthy (ish) Giannis and the continued development of Rollins plus either keeping a lottery pick or trading that pick and future firsts and cap filler for a second good to great player is a viable plan
Atlanta ~has enough to get Giannis~ sure but not without parting with one of their promising young players they presumably want to keep. They can get brown without doing that.
Yeah no shit lol I don’t think they want to trade their all nba guy though if they don’t have to just my two cents !!!!
